#forever15 youth centre

This page has been started to raise the money needed to provide young people in Birmingham with a safe place to interact, learn and enjoy recreational activities.

Due to the recent Death of Keon Lincoln and the catalogue of other fatal crimes in the West midlands we as a community have decided to do something about it.

Young people in marginalised areas in the West Midlands do not have a safe place that they can frequent for the purpose of being mentored, educated and directed onto positive and useful endeavours.

We aim to raise the funds needed to provide young people in the West Midlands with somewhere they can come to and be inspired by great people in their community.

Michelle Helsby is a family friend of Keon Lincoln's and has a son that is Keon's age. Living in constant fear every time her son leaves the house and with the knowledge that the area where constructive or safe for her son to go Michelle was compelled to make a stand.

Michelle was referred to a local community organisation that will provide professional help in attaining a building and the runiing of what will be called "Forever 15" The Keon Lincoln Centre.  This youth Centre will serve the purpose of saving the kids that are on a path to die on our streets as a result of Knife crime or gun crime.

We aim to use this youth establishment to inspire young people in the West Midlands to become builders, stock market traders or entrepreneur businessmen or woman.

The money we raise will be deposited into a community interest company where the only beneficiaries will be the young people that we successfully educate, inspire and save.

We welcome any donations that help us to achieve our objectives.

Funds raised will be deposited into a community interest company bank account (not a personal account!!)
