Forever Welcome Supply Drive for Refugee Families

The Forever Welcome Foundation was started in 2019 to commemorate the life of Srinivas Kuchibhotla who lost his life to a horrendous hate crime in February 2017. Our mission - “United by our human experience, we advance the American Dream by fostering inclusive and welcoming communities through awareness, advocacy, and action.”  Our goal is to bridge diverse cultural, social and economic backgrounds, and to help communities overcome barriers to foster equitable, inclusive, and welcoming environments that advance the American dream for underrepresented and/or underserved groups.

On the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the incident, we would like to celebrate Srinu's life (his birthday is March 9)  by providing supplies to refugees families. We are partnering with KC For Refugees ((https://www.facebook.com/KC4refugees/posts/1843700939118251) , a local organization that is working towards the welfare and wellbeing of refugee communities.

The Forever Welcome Foundation is a Kansas not-for-profit organization and is currently in the process of obtaining confirmation of its 501(c)(3) charitable status with the IRS, which determination will be retroactive once received from the IRS.  We suggest you consult with your own tax advisor regarding deductibility of your donations, but we believe that the Foundation qualifies as a public support organization to which donations are generally tax-deductible.
