Forever in our hearts, Rita Chidinma Uzoma

Wednesday 8th April is a day that continuously rings in my head. On that day we lost a mother, sister, grandma, friend and one of the strongest women you’ll know, Rita Chidinma Uzoma who passed away from brief illness.

My mother was a peaceful, hardworking, kind, giving and strong in faith women who wanted nothing but the best for not just me her only daughter but also my older brothers. With everything she did, she always put others in her care first before herself and she was loved by many in her presence as she was so kind hearted and motherly.

My mum was so devoted to caring for others as she did it all her life. She started from being a teacher, working in childcare before eventually beginning her career as a healthcare worker which she did for many years. Being a strong woman that she was (my superwoman), she overworked herself and her body finally started to give up. Losing her has taken a big chunk from all our hearts and it’ll never be the same.

I plead with you as I seek financial support towards the cost of her funeral. Your immediate help will be highly appreciated.
