Forest Row Community Fridge CIC

The Forest Row Community Fridge is a space for everybody in the community to help reduce food waste but also it is a place where people in need have access to healthy food and cleaning and personal hygiene products.


This is an exciting initiative that engages many aspects of our wonderful Forest Row community, to come together and do something about waste and in the process helps those in need.  Not only is the community fridge an opportunity to directly divert food waste, but it also allows all members of the community who visit the fridge, to receive free food!

We are run by  volunteers who are passionate about the cause, but we also hope that we can create employment for residents in the future. 

We opened in February and since then we have given out over 9000kg of food to families and people in need in the community. 

To enable us to remain open we need to raise £2000
