Firstly I would just like to take the time to say thank you for visiting our page!
We have set up a horse rescue where unwanted and meat work horses are able to come and be rehabilitated and rehomed. Unfortunately a lot of horses are disposed of due to people loosing interest and or wanting to make a quick buck at a meat work sale and some are even very malnourished or starved due to lack of funds or knowledge. We are providing care, medical and training for these beautiful souls giving them a new lease on life.
We are hoping to continue to hold open days to allow people to come and engage with the horses and really get a connection with them and how worthy and gentle beings they really are.
We have 12 beautiful fur children in care at the moment, who are being treated for all different things and are at different levels of training.
The funds that we are trying to raise are going towards the running of the rescue and to get a few more supplies to make or facilities safe for use of horses at all levels.
Working paste - $16 per horse
Dental- $90 per horse
Carrier work- $40 per horse
Pellets - $15 per bag ( 1 bag per week for Ollie, Wiggles, Billie and 2 bags per week Brandi and Waffle)
Hay- $15 per bale (20 bales per fortnight)
Round yard panels - $55 per panel and we need about 19-30.
Fencing supplies to make new better yards- $437
Vet work for the mother & foal ( injury $370 plus) Billie (hermaphrodite $350 plus)
