Remembering Our Fallen Soldiers..... United States Army Soldiers William Cecil Fore and Alexander Fore, both 1967 Casualties of the Vietnam Conflict/War.
Many of our servicemen and women are often lost in a sea of names on a wall. Their faces are only remembered by close relatives and friends or faded pictures over the mantel. In dedication of their sacrifice to this country and keeping their memory and legacy alive we are remembering William Cecil Fore and Alexander Fore through this Scholarship Award in their name.
These two outstanding young men, were not only cousins but good friends, who lived with their families in the Spring Branch Community of Marion, S.C. William Cecil and Alexander graduated from Johnakin High School, (now Johnakin Middle School) high school students attend Marion High School.
Shortly after attending the burial service for William Cecil Fore, in February 1967, Alexander Fore was returned from Vietnam in May 1967 for his burial service.
In Remembrance of United States Army Soldiers, William Cecil Fore and Alexander Fore we are creating a scholarship fund for college bound graduating seniors of Marion High School, Marion, S.C..
