WHO WE ARE
Force Athletics has been serving youth athletes across the New York City region since 2016, attracting many athletes from all 5 boroughs. The goal of Force Athletics has always been to create an environment where athletes, no matter their socioeconomic background, can showcase their talents. Force Athletics' first sport is basketball, where it serves over 250 athletes with After School, Travel Basketball teams, and speciality camps for boys & girls.
We're looking to create an endowment, where we will have more resources to be able to serve all of our athletes even better!OUR STORY
In our first year, we started out with 45 participants, and now in year four, we have 250 plus participants coming from all walks of life. We credit our growth to the high standard set during practices, and being platform for those athletes who have aspirations of bettering their lives. Basketball is an incredible gift that brings children together, no matter what background they come from. However, without a sponsorship, Force Athletics carries the costs for athletes not being able to afford the program. Traveling to national tournaments can get an athlete great exposure for college, but their upbringing may not always support their dream.
Our mission at Force Athletics is to provide exceptional, multi-sport training to youth athletes across the New York City region. We believe in not only developing athletic skills, but also developing interpersonal relationships and building character with our diverse community of youth-athletes and their families. What separates FORCE from other youth athletic programs is our dedication to our comprehensive strength and conditioning program that is specifically tailored to youth athletes. We strive to create a world-class youth athletic program that is recognized both locally and nationally.FORCE SHOOT-A-THON
Keeping program fees at a reasonable cost is our objective but with high-level coaches, tournament fees, gym rentals, uniforms and other equipment, we know that there are a certain amount of kids who may not be able to afford the full price. This year we will be holding a program wide Shoot-A- Thon to fundraise for the program and help alleviate the cost for these athletes. This will serve as an endowment to the program for high character kids who need the opportunity to play in a top of the line program.
The “Force Free Throw Shoot-A-Thon Contest” will be held on Friday, December 13 at 116 E 97 Street from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. TO LEARN MORE:
