Forbes Family

Hello everyone, it is with a heavy heart we ask for help. At this moment, my cousin and her husband sit by their son's bedside, as he fights for his life. No parent should have to go thru this. To see their child sick and not be able to fix them, is one the worst feelings in the world. On December 17th, 2mo old Amiyr, was rushed to the hospital due to difficulty breathing. Only 8 hrs later, Noemi received a call that Amiyr's twin, Aviyon, was experiencing the same symptoms and was being rushed to the same hospital. As the day wore on, their ability to breathe deteriorated. Aviyon needed a CPAP and, Amiyr was intubated. After being intubated,  Amiyr needed intensive care and was flown to Delaware. His brother shortly followed. Amiyr is fighting off 3 respiratory viruses and today his health worsened.  He now has bacterial pneumonia. His brother Aviyon is fighting off 2 respiratory viruses as well, and they are both in the PICU receiving the best possible care. The doctors are asking mom and dad to stay at Amiyr's side as his health worsened. Noemi and Devon are unable to work right now to keep their family going, as they wait by their sons' bedsides. Any small amount is a blessing to this family as they also have 2 other children, a 15 year old and 2 year old baby girl to provide for.
