For Barbara's Healing
Healing for Barbara Cairns:
As many of you know, I was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2015. I never once have thought this was a death sentence. I saw this as an opportunity to live. It was time to turn over control to my Creator and let him fix was what broken. I’m not sick because I have cancer, I have cancer because I am sick.
So I went into research mode and learned all I could about cancer – how it lives, how it dies, what causes it to manifest into a disease. I decided to follow a natural treatment protocol which included dietary changes, immune system boosting treatments and lots of prayer. I have not ignored traditional doctors, I have just rejected traditional treatments like chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. This disease came about from a combination of bad decisions on my part physically, emotionally and spiritually.
I have done well so far, but I need more than what I can get in Nashville in order to reach total healing. I have decided to go away to a clinic for more in depth treatments. Utopia Wellness in the Tampa area uses a holistic approach that integrates the mind, body and spirit using conventional and alternative therapies to prevent and treat disease. Once I regain an equal balance of these three areas of my life then I hope to achieve optimal health.
Unfortunately, insurance does not cover natural treatments, thus, the need to raise funds for my treatment and the cost to live away from home for a while.
