In Memory of Aung Htoo, For 3 Kids

Donation protected
Aung Htoo's kids are going to need some help.
Aung Htoo died on Sunday June 4th, in his sleep. Age 38. It's a mystery, a complete and awful mystery.

He and his wife Eh Say came to Ithaca from a refugee camp in Thailand 6 years ago, with their three kids.  They wanted to make a better life for their children.
Will Mu Htoo (16) wants to be a doctor. She's totally capable of it. Roe May Htoo (14) isn't quite sure what he wants, but it will be good... he's smart.  Eh Htee Kaw (8) wants to be Bendy for Halloween (he knows this already).
Aung Htoo had no formal education at all, but he knew the value of a good education and wanted his kids to have it. He talked with his daughter just a week ago about how it would be to go to college, and staying on course even when things get tough.
People who knew Aung Htoo remember his  heartful smile and eagerness to help. He was a man who took the wheelbarrow from your hands before you even realized you were struggling.

We (Graham and Otto Ottoson) have been sponsors of the family since their arrival in Ithaca... we became instant grandparents! We are collecting the donations, and will help them use the money to cover educational expenses that aren't covered by some other means.

We know that Ithaca welcomes refugees. Let's show that we love and support them also. Thanks so much.
