<div>	•	Splenomegaly (enlarged spleen)
</div>
<div>	•	Collateral Blood Vessels forming due to blocked liver circulation
</div>
<div>	•	Ascites (fluid buildup in her abdomen)
</div>
<div>	•	Fluid around her lungs
</div>
<div>	•	Edema in her abdominal wall
</div>
<div>	•	Gallstones

<div>These findings mean that her condition is progressing, and she needs continuous monitoring, medication, hospital visits, and procedures to prevent life-threatening complications like internal bleeding, infections, and breathing difficulties.

<div>My mother is the only one taking care of my father, who has Parkinson’s disease, and my 5-year-old son who has autism back home in the Philippines. Knowing that she’s fighting this battle while still trying to care for our family is tearing me apart.

<div>Working two jobs here in Canada is no longer enough to cover her medical tests, hospitalization, medications, and ongoing treatment. Every day, I fear getting another call from the hospital.
