This GFM is asking for donations for the family of Kirstin Wright and MacKay Hulsey'. They were involved in a plane collision that claimed the lives of 7 people. Four of those 7 people were from the area of Spartanburg, South Carolina.
This tragedy was an accident that no one saw coming. The plane crash is affecting many in the upstate area. Kirstin and MacKay were a young couple in love and vacationing together as a family. Heather and Caleb were a newlywed couple married a year ago. Heather was a teacher in the Spartanburg School District 6 at Dawkins Middle school teaching art. Spartanburg business owner Alan Hulsey and another son, Harrison were also together on vacation with the 4 victims, according to friends of the family. Please pray for everyone involved in this tragic accident.
Both families have many ties to the community with Pat Hulsey (Grandmother) Hurt of Gaffney, pianist at Grassy Pond Baptist Church, who was the grandmother of Caleb and Mackay. Alan Hulsey owns Palmetto Sound Works.
The Wright's and the Hulsey's are working together to benefit each other's families to lean in during our grieving time.
This GFM is to help out with the funerals of Kirstin, MacKay, Caleb, and Heather.
Kirstin's mothera father are Cynthia and Christopher Wright.
At the request of Cynthia, your prayers are much appreciated. She was able to express with me that Kirstin and MacKay were in a long term relationship of seven years strong. Kirstin and MacKay were planning on purchasing their first home together. Everyone loved them as individuals and a couple. They were a very generous and loving couple to everyone around them and when meeting anyone new. They believed and lived by the values that it is better to give than to receive. They both attended the Newspring Church Spartanburg campus. The couple were believers in Jesus Christ. Kirstin was employed with Pinnacle Hospitality in Spartanburg, SC and MacKay was a personal fitness trainer employed with The Firm Fitness also in Spartanburg, SC.
Kirstin leaves behind a brother, William Wright is a college student local to the Spartanburg area and a member of the armed forces serving in the National Guard. Her father is Christopher Wright, resides in Spartanburg. Her mother Cynthia Wright resides in Greer, SC and is employed by BMW. Her grandparents, Dennis and Ann Smith residing in Hampton, GA.
Condolences can be made to Cynthia on her Facebook page, Cindy Smith Wright. Cynthia is a member and volunteer of the Newspring Church Greenville campus.
