For the students and children of AlRazi Academy

My name is Ihsan Yaseen and I am the principle of AlRazi Academy, a non-profit private school and Early Childhood center. This school was founded for the purpose of giving the children of our community an education that allows them to be successful in their careers, how to be great citizens and active members of a community. These students are learning without enough computers, a playground, and school provided lunches.  The money raised will allow us to issue our students Chromebooks as they learn in this age of technology. Many of these children are from families that cannot afford computers at home, making completing homework and projects a major obstacle to their learning.
The money raised will also go to building a proper and safe playground for the students to let loose and have fun. As of now, the school has no playground equipment, and the school has to come up with ways to have fun during recess without them. Many schools have the means to provide lunch for their students. Our school lacks a kitchen that allows us to do so. Nutrition is a major factor for a healthy body, and a healthy mind. For students to engage in their learning, it is important to provide nutritious meals. 

With this fundraiser we could improve our school to give more to these students. We could improve their education to be more engaging, and more entertaining.  For the longest time, I had this dream of what the school could be. A big school, with many students eager to learn, a school with more books than any student can read, a school that keeps up with the advancements of technology, a school that has the means to give its students those memorable friendships and moments in the playground during recess, a school that gives students nutritious and delicious lunches, a school that the students will remember in the future as the beginning that jump-started their successful lives. The dream is already unfolding into a reality, and with your help it can unfold completely.
