For the Love of Scrubs - NWKent

We currently have enough material for around 2 weeks of making scrubs (approx 300) and the message we are getting is that the urgent requirement is reducing. Therefore, we have decided to not buy any more fabric at this time, until we know what the requirement is moving forward. Any surplus funds received will be donated to local hospices in the Medway and Orpington areas.

My wife started making scrubs to help the Lewisham Hospital after being in contact with the Facebook page ‘For the love of Scrubs’. Given the limited capacity she had, we decided to ask our friends to help with donating toward buying the fabric and asking for others to help with the sewing.  After just one day we raised over £2000!

We would really like to hit a target for making 1000 scrubs and will need around £7500 to do this.

ALL money received will be used for materials only, we will keep making them until the money runs out!

please help, and if you’re local to Orpington/Bromley and competent in using a sewing machine please get in touch! If we are advised that scrubs are no longer required we will make a donation of all remaining raised funds to the NHS.
