              "FOR THE LOVE OF KAREN"

There are special people that walk amongst us, but I know no other who was kinder, gentler, giving, loving and just plain fun!  Her smile would brighten a cloudy day, her laughter would liven any room with joy and her gentle soul was her gift she gladly shared with all who were fortunate to meet her.  Karen was a true warrior of God.  She walked the walk and talked the talk!!!  She was an angel of earth and now she is an angel in heaven.  At this time of sadness and joy, we have set aside this sight for friends of the Melton family who would like to contribute for "The Love of Karen".  The family has shared that the monies will help to defray costs of her funeral and a portion will also be used to go towards a memorial at Kraft Meadows Middle School and/or a bench or some type of memorial at Sleeping Bear Dunes, a place she loved dearly.  On behalf of Larry, Hannah and Natasha and family, thank you for your love, support and contribution.  It means more than you will ever know.
