For the love of Jim

Hello all! I have started a go fund me in behalf of my dear friends Jim and Leslie Stewart. I want to give you some background on these wonderful people and their family whom I love dearly.
Jim and Leslie have been our friends for over 20+ years. They currently live in Texas. They have 3 kids-Logan, their 20 yr old son, who is currently serving a mission for the LDS church in Mexico. They have 2 daughters still at home, Emma who is 19yrs old, and Julia who is 16yrs old. Over the years I have witnessed many acts of kindness and charity from this family. They have always been people you can count on in time of need. I have watched them serve many people. I have also witnessed their trials, blessings, and tribulations that life brings. From starting out as new parents, suffering the loss of a child, serious health issues, as well as having to restart their whole lives over many times. They are some of the strongest people I know.

That brings me to why I am starting this fundraiser. My dear friend Jim was diagnosed with complete renal failure last week. Which came as a huge shock for their entire family. It was unexpected. He has spent several days in the ICU at the hospital, with doctors trying to figure out what steps needed to be taken to help save his life and allow him to be able to go home. The doctors have put Jim on dialysis. He had surgery last week to allow him to go home and be with his family. With this diagnosis, and how serious and life altering this is for Jim and his family, it has also made a huge impact on their finances. Jim was working fulltime and providing for his family up until last week when he had to go to the hospital. Leslie works fulltime as well. But they can't survive on her income alone and pay for all of the new incoming medical bills and expenses that will be coming their way. Jim does not know when he will be able to return to work. There are a lot of adjustments to be made. So I am reaching out to everyone I can think of asking for help on their behalf. If you knew this family like we do, I know you'd love them just as much. Jim is a guy who would give his shirt off of his back to anyone in need. His wife Leslie serves even when she is suffering. Please donate to them if you can. Every donation helps them. I will update this message as things go forward. They are not ones who would ask for anything. And that is why I am asking for them.
