For the love of family. For a tiny soul departed.

For Duncan and Ying the journey into parenthood has been anything but easy. A journey that has had its fair share of ups, downs and heartache.

After a few failed attempts with IVF Duncan and Ying were blessed with the news of triplets! Dunc and Ying's dream of a family was finally coming true. All they wanted was a big healthy baby and now they were getting 3!

However it wasn't smooth sailing for Ying after an emergency ambulance ride from Lao to Bangkok and strict bed rest from 17 weeks. The journey was only just beginning.

Ying went into hospital at 26 weeks after complications. With an emergency C section the 3 Yinglets were born. Harry, Leonard and Morrison all weighing less than a kilo each and with the odds stacked against them they fought the hardest battle. Every breath with their under developed lungs was a struggle and every day was a blessing. It truly was a case of 2 steps forward 1 step back. They faced countless hurdles; pneumonia, collapsed lungs, weight loss and infections. The words critical and severe were heard far too often, despite this the boys continued to grow. There were milestone days like when Dunc and Ying got to cuddle the boys for the first time. They were doing so well and had come so far, getting to 100 days old was well worth celebrating. Things were looking up and the boys had all made it past their actual due date. Hearing they were stable made what happened next come as a horrific shock.

At 3am on 12/7/19 Harry Va Yu Handley's heart stopped. He took his last breath and his tiny soul departed. Duncan and Ying were living every parents worst nightmare. A crushing moment that they will never forget, leaving them empty and sick with grief.

Then on the 5/10/19 Morrison Phu Pa Handley took his last breath and went to be with his brother Harry. Morrison had filled Duncan and Ying with love and hope over the past 6months with his incredible will to live but after a difficult September the battle became to much for him to endure. Tragically now Duncan and Ying were now facing the loss of their second son.

Dunc and Ying are obviously heartbroken for Harry and Morri. However the fight still continues for Lenny. The condition of Lennys heart and lungs are of deepest concern. He has a long road ahead and it may be months or years before Lenny can leave hospital. At this point we are hoping and praying for a miracle.

Money doesn't heal scares.... but we can give Duncan and Ying one less thing to have to worry about so they can focus all their love, care and attention on little Lenny.

We thank you for your kind support and generosity xx
