As I prepare for my Bharatanatyam arangetram, I can't help but reflect on the incredible journey it has been. I want to share this special moment with all of you as an opportunity to make a positive impact. One cause that is close to my heart is the Blue Cross of India.

The Blue Cross of India is a nonprofit organization that rescues, treats, vaccinates, and shelters thousands of injured, abandoned, and stray animals across India. From emergency care to long-term shelter and adoption, their work gives vulnerable animals a second chance at life. To learn more about the Blue Cross of India and their initiatives, visit their website at https://bluecrossofindia.org/ .

I love animals and have always felt a strong connection to them, and I always feel so sad to see all the stray dogs roaming the streets whenever I visit my grandparents in Chennai. I once saw a stray puppy in a ditch on the streets, which broke my heart, and made me realize how important organizations like the Blue Cross are. Instead of gifts or flowers for my arangetram, I invite you to consider donating to this amazing organization.

Every single donation, whether small or large, makes a difference-- a $25 donation could provide a week's worth of food for a rescued dog. All donations will go directly towards essential resources like food, medical care, and rescue efforts for these animals. Your support means the world to those who can’t speak for themselves.
