For the Fret Workers of Chicago Fret Works
These guys wouldn’t dare to ask, so we’re asking for them. Pat Mckeever, Troy Anderson, Cameron Baum, and Jed Jacobs are the guitar and amp repair techs at Chicago Fret Works. Due to the pandemic and ensuing Shelter At Home order from the State Of Illinois, they, like so many in the service sector, are not going to have work for sometime to come. If you would be willing to pitch in a little something for them to help them get through, we would be grateful. All funds will go to these four, not to owners Dan and Steve.
When Chicago Fret Works is able to return to work, we promise to continue delivering the best care we can so you can make the best music you can.
*Please note: We originally thought that if we didn’t reach a fundraising goal, the guys wouldn’t get anything - so we set it rather low. We’ve learned that’s not the case, so we’ve raised the goal to a level that may actually be helpful to them. Whatever figure you see, divide it by four and that’s what each worker will be getting. Every little bit helps, be it $5 or $100. We are truly grateful for every donation.
