Donation protected
On June 28, 2019 Oweeta Wilkins-Glegola and Aaron Glegola were killed in a car accident with an Inkster police officer. The officer was speeding trying to get another crime scene and didn’t have on his lights or sirens while coming towards the vehicle the mother and son were in.  They were killed instantly. They were coming to visit her daughter, Gia at the Happy’s Pizza were she worked. Oweeta was coming to pick up food for her mother, who is sick with stage 4 lung cancer.  Oweeta had just turned 45 on May 21st. Aaron was 10 years and was excited to start 5th grade at David Hicks Elementary School. Oweeta had 3 children. Gia, age 20. Owen, age 12. Aaron, age 10. Oweeta was a hardworking mother who did whatever she could to provide for her children. Often working 10-12 hour work days at her job. She would still get off work to tend to her children and/or help her mother. Oweeta was honest, caring, sweet, and selfless.  Aaron was a sweet, intelligent, helpful, competitive, pepperoni pizza loving,  little dancing machine. Aaron was loved by his family, school, friends, and neighbors. They both leave behind family and friends who loved them so very dearly.  They were both one of a kind and will truly be missed by everyone.
