For the Family of Joyce Pacubas Le Blanc

Joyce was an ICU nurse for more than thirty years. Two days ago, sadly, she became the first nurse at University of Illinois Hospital and Health Systems (UIH) to succumb to COVID.
She leaves behind her devastated husband Lawrence and two sons, Lawrence Jr and Derek. Like many of us, Joyce had plans and hopes for the future. Her unexpected demise has put an abrupt stop to that.
