For the Children of Our Departed Friend Douglas Bird
I am raising money for the three beautiful children of Douglas Bird.
On the morning of November 19, 2017, 48 year old Douglas Bird was on his way to work, as he was most mornings, to provide a better life for his loving wife and children. As he stopped at the local Dunkin Donuts for his morning coffee, he became short of breath and collapsed. En route to the hospital, he tragically passed away.
There was no chance to say goodbye to the much beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Without any prior signs, Doug was gone. He leaves behind his wife, Jamie, and their beautiful children, Tyler (16), Shannon (11), and Austin (5).
Doug was a devoted father and husband who will be sorely missed. He was always there for his family, friends, and neighbors, always willing to do anything for them when they needed help. He often worked six days a week as a landscaper and took side jobs to help provide for his family.
The Bird family now faces many difficult challenges, both emotional and financial. I am a close friend of the Bird Family and am starting this page to help assist the children. Please consider donating if you can.
