For the Benefit of Sara Mullay

Donation protected
Hello Everyone. Sara Mullay has had a history of battling cancer since she was 25. She was diagnosed with Hodgkin disease in 2001. After chemotherapy and radiation, the cancer came back twice. She then had a stem cell transplant in 2008 and was doing well. Unfortunately, Sara was recently diagnosed with radiation-induced breast cancer. She had a bilateral mastectomy in March, 2020, in NYC during the height of the Coronavirus and is now in process of more chemotherapy. She is presently in the hospital with an overwhelming blood staph infection. Once the staph infection is gone, she will need radiation therapy for 5 more weeks, with the hope she can have reconstructive surgery in the future. The reason we are reaching out to you is because Sara is now out of sick leave and unable to work. It is devastating that this happens to anyone, but especially to someone so young who revolved her life around helping the hospitalized psych patients, but it’s happening.... and as we help one another through this uncertain covid time, I am hoping you find it in your heart to help this young lady in her time of need as she fights for her life. . Please consider giving....whether it’s $5 or $500, each donation will make a difference. Thank you P.S., If you prefer to donate directly to Sara and not use Go Fund Me, please contact Rosalie Sawchak or Mary and Kathleen Mullay.
