For Ted and Denise fire recovery

My brother Ted, his wife Denise and their 3 children lost their home yesterday to the wildfires in Santa Rosa, CA along with many of their friends and neighbors. They only had time to take a few changes of clothes and some small personal items, but everything else they owned was lost in the fire.

This fund is to help with immediate and intermediate needs as they try to recover. They will need everyday personal items, food, clothing, interim lodging in the short term and there will be additional intermediate costs as they try to rebuild their lives.

Ted and Denise have good insurance, which will start to kick in soon, but many of their friends who also lost everything may not be as fortunate. Any funds raised that are not needed by Ted and Denise will go to others in their community and church who have similar or greater needs as a result of the fires.

As I and other family members live in Florida and are not able to be nearby to help my brother and his family recover, we decided to start this gofundme page as a way to help them and their community recover.
