An update for this fund for Susan as of December 31st.....
I am with a heavy heart to let you know that Susan's mother Marina Magana went home to be with The Lord yesterday on December 30th. Her mother's birthday was December 26th and turned 71 years old. This fund was originally made for Susan and family for any medical expenses and needs. We are now asking for you to share this link to anyone who would like to help with her mom's funeral. She died suddenly of a stroke and massive heart attack and was very sick as well. Her dad is also very sick and upset of the loss of his wife. Please keep him in your prayers.
Susan had not been able to see her parents due to the risk of her own health being affected. Thank you so much in advance and may we all have a healthy New Year.
Hello family and friends. I am writing to you tonight to seek your prayers and help of any kind for our dear friend and sister in Christ Susan Reyes who is battling stage four cancer. It began as Classical Hodgkin's lymphoma and is now Non Hodgkin's lymphoma stage 4. She has been told it is normally a treatable cancer . And was given 65% survival rate with her age of 44 years old. And stage 4 makes treatments more aggressive. Covid 19 happened and delayed her in going to doctor in March when she was not feeling good . Unknowingly she had all covid symptoms before we knew about Covid in January. Dr Believes her getting sick aggravated her cancer.
She will be 45 years old on December 28th more reason we thought to create a Fund for her and family during this difficult year of uncertainty.
Susan and Oscar have been married for 23 years now and have 2 sons and 1 daughter. They also have 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter on the way. Praise God! One of her sons is in military. Prayers for him are greatly received as well.
During the beginning of her knowledge of her sickness and her treatments, they had to move . Her husband is the sole provider for her and family . It has been difficult to pay rent, medical bills, treatments, food, and their daily needs, and to think about Christmas too. They would much rather have her healthy again. Alot of stresses i am sure. They may have to move again but she waits for The Lord to provide as HE always does.
But the most important focus is Susan's health. I thought we could try to help ease the stress financially during this challenging time. She has no idea about the fund page and would never burden you for money. She is the most positive and honest woman i know . She never complains. She loves dropping off her hubby to work at 2 in the morning and then goes to her chemo or appts at 8am and then pickhim up around 1pm!! They only have 1 car. Or she would say we only NEED one car ! It's like no big deal to her. She really shows me so much joy in her sickness. She continues to praise God and believes with all of her heart that Jesus is right beside her in all of her discomforts. She's a blessing to me and gives great wisdom even when she goes through her own trials. She gives gifts while sick. She made a beautiful wood frame painting with a perfect bible verse and yet she was not feeling good. Just to show us how grateful she is for our friendship. To her your prayers would be enough. She knows Who is on The Throne and waits on The Lord . May The Lord speak to you and bless you as you pray for Susan and her entire family as she continues her journey that God has chosen for her to help us all draw nearer to Him. We know many are going through hard times. We pray for you all. May we remember our salvation and health are far greater than any amount of money or possessions. Any amount is such a blessing . But remember power of prayer to God is the most important thing you can do.
