On October 8, 2018 we lost a beautiful soul and a funny, funny man. Ron Buckner passed away suddenly from a brain aneurysm and stroke. It was too fast and much too soon. He was only 53 years old. He leaves behind the great loves of his life; his wife Pam, 3 children Erika, Shelby and Michaela and 2 beautiful grandchildren, Abram and Eden. He was a Marine, an incredible handyman, always willing to lend a hand and had the largest of hearts and gave the best bear hugs. He could be completely inappropriate but that was also one of his more enduring qualities. He always made you laugh.
His wife, Pam, has been a self employed hairdresser for more than 25 years with a large clientele that covers our city. She is such a dear and loving friend, also willing to serve others in any way that is needed which is why she and Ron were such a great couple. It is our hope that we can raise enough funds to cover the cost of Ron's missing income as well as Pam's while she recovers from this devastating loss. Misc medical expenses that may not be covered by insurance, funeral costs and just every day bills will need to be covered. This is not a time when Pam should have to worry about money. That is why her friends and family are so appreciative of those who give - so Pam will have at least this one burden lifted from her shoulders and can move throughout the grieving process freely. It takes a long time to heal and collectively, we can all help give her that time. We are grateful for everyone's support, more than words can say.
