<div>Crisis Within a Crisis: Protecting Queer Lives in Sudan
</div>
<div>Since the devastating civil war erupted in Sudan in April 2023, the country has plunged into one of the world's most severe humanitarian disasters. But amidst the widespread violence, mass displacement, and collapsing infrastructure, Sudan’s Queer (LGBTQ+) community faces a hidden, existential threat.
</div>
<div>In Sudan, same-sex relationships remain criminalized with penalties of up to life imprisonment. Because of deep-seated societal homophobia, queer individuals cannot access standard internal displacement camps or public humanitarian aid without risking severe violence, exposure, or abandonment.
</div>
<div>The Immediate Danger: As armed factions terrorize cities, LGBTQ+ individuals are targeted with heightened brutality. Sexual violence and physical torture are being systematically used as weapons of war, and queer folks have entirely lost their traditional family and community support networks. For them, being discovered is a death sentence.

<div>Why Your Support is Lifesaving
</div>
<div>Mainstream international aid programs consistently fail to reach this community due to systemic bias and the severe risk of outings. This fundraiser provides direct, underground mutual aid to queer Sudanese individuals who are currently fighting to survive.
</div>
<div>Your donations will go directly toward:
</div>
<div>Safe Passage &amp; Evacuation: Securing emergency transport, documentation, and safe routes out of active conflict zones and across borders.
</div>
<div>Emergency Housing: Funding underground safe houses and secure temporary shelter for displaced queer individuals.
</div>
<div>Survival Essentials: Providing direct funds for clean water, food, and life-saving medical supplies in a completely collapsed healthcare system.
</div>
<div>Mental &amp; Legal Support: Connecting individuals with remote crisis counseling and underground legal protection.
</div>
<div>Every single dollar goes directly to grassroots activists on the ground risking their lives to keep our community alive. Please donate, share, and stand in solidarity with the queer community of Sudan. They cannot wait for the war to end; they need our help today.
