For Our Paralyzed Friend

We have a friend who is paralyzed and resides in a nursing home. One of the positive aspects of his daily struggle of life is his trainer working with him twice per week. It does wonders for his mental state, and through the use of resistance bands, he gets a small range of motion, the only time his arms are not totally frozen in place.
The sessions cost $35. That's $70 per week. For
years, we, his friends, and two cousins have paid for the
training. Now we are asking for help. I am leaving out
our friend's name on purpose. Many of you know who I
am talking about. Those who don't, I certainly would
not expect you to donate.
I am asking his friends for any amount of money, and I
promise that 100% of the funds raised will go directly to
the trainer. As a thank you to anyone who donates $50 or more, we will send you a print made from one of his pencil drawings that have been seen and enjoyed nationally. He was a talented artist before this illness took away his ability to draw.
I apologize to you if you receive a duplicate of this request. We are only sending it because we care so much for our friend.
