For our loving father, James

We have always known that our father was not in the best of health. This past week, we have received some devastating news unbeknownst to us. They discovered a mass in his colon and multiple nodules in both lungs. His heart and body are entirely too weak to undergo any further procedures/treatment. His cancer is very aggressive and he has been deemed terminal. They’ve estimated about 2-3 weeks left of his young life if not sooner.. We are transitioning him to an inpatient hospice facility where he will receive the 24hr care he needs.  Us three daughters plan to stay by his side until his passing as he has for us his entire life.  We are asking for help financially as this was unexpected and unplanned for and we will all be off work for this time. We have applied him for Medicaid in hopes that they will help us pick up the costs of the inpatient facility. He does wish to be cremated and eventually we will bring him back to Puerto Rico where he always wanted to end up. We really appreciate everyone’s time and support though these hard times. Even just a little bit goes a long way. We are even willing to take bottles and cans! Again, thank you!
