In Loving Memory of our mom, Becky
On behalf of my brother, Remin, sister, Sharon, and I, thank you for all the continued love and support. To say the last few days have been extremely difficult is an understatement.
On Sunday, Dec. 13, our mother unexpectedly passed away at home at the young age of 66. She had been battling health issues stemming mainly from diabetes and although we were continuously trying to get her better, she departed our world to join the lord in heaven.
My mom was one of hardest workers I knew. She spent her younger years working in different parts of the world as a phlebotomist and her last years being a caregiver to others, and would often tell me stories about the elderly people she would take care of. She enjoyed what she did until her health took a toll on her ability to work. She enjoyed many things, but the one thing she cherished the most was seeing her three grown adult children together with her. While we all lived our separate lives, when we were all together was when my mom was the happiest. Although the current pandemic has separated her from some of her family, my brother, sister and I came together with her one last time for Thanksgiving.
With her untimely death, my siblings and I have gathered what we have, but nothing could prepare us for planning a funeral and burial for our mother. Times are tough right now so while donations are are much appreciated, prayers are needed to get us through this difficult time.
I am currently working on all the arrangements for my mom and will keep you all updated.
Thank you all again for your generosity of prayers, love, thoughts, and donations at this time. Hug your mom a little tighter the next time you see her.
❤️Leah
