For Our beloved Dad

As some of you are aware, our beloved Dad/Grandad John Glenister (Daddyjohn) passed away peacefully on 5-1-2021. Everyone knew he was a kind, loving man with a heart of gold who would help out anyone in need and was very well liked, admired and respected within his community for his outgoing personality , caring nature , laughs, jokes and smiles that will be deeply missed . With all the covid restrictions we are limited on who can attend his funeral so those unable to attend have expressed their wishes to donate instead , therefore we have decided to set up this go fund me page to raise some money to buy our Dad/Grandad a memorial bench to be placed in his garden ,a place he loved to sit and feed the birds, watch the day go by and enjoy seeing his grandchildren play. As the 4 of us are isolating together, would like to say how overwhelmed we are with all the messages we have received , the cards, lunch brought round, shopping on the doorstep and would like to thank you all so much at this difficult time. Rest assured we will give our Dad/Grandad as best a send off as we can.
