For Our Angel, Jemimah

Hi, my name is Karla and I am setting up this gofundme for my niece Jemimah and her family. On the early morning of July 7, Jemimah suddenly left us in a circumstance we had never imagined. Jemimah was a victim of an unfortunate event and her life on this earth had untimely ceased. She's such a smart girl at the young age of 3 and has accomplished so much in the little time she had with her loved ones. She loves spending time outdoors on her scooter, biking, dancing, singing, reading, swimming, and making crafts. She is the sunshine amongst everyone she encounters. Her radiating smile, warm heart, and positive energy always lights up the room. Jemimah is immensely missed by her mother Jasmine, Papa Macky, Tito Abner, Tita Janna, Lolo Albert, Lola Marilou, and the rest of her family and friends.

Although her life on this earth was short, Jemimah made the most out of every second of it. Among everything, what she loves most is reading books and telling stories through the voices of different characters. Sometimes she even talks too fast that you can’t understand what she’s saying. As a 1-year-old Maimai had learned to say the ABCs and was also able to learn ASL ABCs. What we will miss most about Maimai is her very sweet and comforting voice. She loves to say “I love you” and would not stop until you tell her you love her back. She would apologize for the littlest mistakes and would still apologize for hours after you’ve forgiven her. Maimai has the biggest heart, the fullest hugs, and the most beautiful smile. She loves helping her Lolo and Lola with house chores like gardening, cleaning, laundry, and washing the dishes. Whenever Lolo is hurt, Maimai would take out her doctor’s kit and rub his knees with ointment to help ease his pain. Maimai also loves to go on adventures with her Mama and Papa, whether it be to the beach, park, or The Forks. Posing for pictures was her forte. It is without a doubt that Maimai’s untimely passing will leave an immeasurable void in our hearts, but it is the memories and faith in God that we are holding on to.

At this time, we are asking for financial assistance to help alleviate the family's funeral expenses as well as to provide additional supports for their sudden loss.
