We all could use a little help from our friends! Natalie needs everyone's support. So let us rally for her and help relieve the financial burden she is under as she continues her battle with Lupus.
Few words from Natalie herself:
Hey guys! So first of all I want to thank Sarah for doing this because she knows that I have a hard time asking for help and I'm not as strong as she is with these types of situations. About a year and half ago, I was diagnosed with Lupus which completely turned my life upside down. Most of my organs were shutting down, my heart was overworking causing extreme chest pain and I developed blood clots in my body. The doctors automatically put me on disability because the stress, physical and mental, from work could possibly kill me or so they say. So here I am 20 months later in this crazy situation. It has been really challenging and difficult to say the least. I've lost almost about everything I held dear to my life because of this stupid illness. I lost my health, my job, my career, my significant other, the potential of having children and a few friends which I guess weren't really friends. Trust me It's extremely difficult for me to not be able to be in control of my life but with this disease you lose most of your control especially when it comes to your body and the doctors dictating what they will allow you to do and how to live your life. Anyways, so even though the doctor has not cleared me to work yet, the state decided, with no advance notice, to terminate my disability and tell me I had to transition into federal disability which takes about 6 months to get approved. So currently at the moment, I have no income and I've been left with a mortgage and a bunch of bills to be paid. Sarah knowing the truth about my current situation decided to find a way to help me out. Which is difficult for me at times because I am usually used to isolating myself and figuring out a solution without asking for any help and plus I don't really like everyone to know what's really going on with me. But Sarah finally made me realized that this hole was too deep for me to climb out by myself. So I'm extremely grateful to her and all of you for doing this. I know everyone has their own dilemmas they are dealing with but if you guys can help in any way I would greatly appreciate it.
