For my dad's freedom

Donation protected
So as some of you might already know, my Dad's mobility scooter was stolen from outside of his house very recently in Glasgow Road Portsmouth. We have reason to believe whoever took it has absolutely no intention of giving it back. My dad suffered from a stroke in 2016. This left him with left sided weakness and severe epilepsy.  His mobility scooter was his only method of getting around and enjoying the freedom it gave him; furthermore it enabled him to get to and from medical appointments. He is no longer able to do any of this as a thief has taken all of that away from him.

He relies heavily on the support of his friends and family and his scooter allowed him to be a little less dependent on us.

A few of my friends have said that they'd like to help him get his freedom back in the form of a new mobilty scooter so therefore I have set up this page. I wasn't going to set up a GoFundMe, as we don't like to ask for help; but after the suggestion of many I came to the conclusion that it wasn't a bad idea.

Any money raised will go towards a new mobilty scooter for him and if we are fortunate enough to raise more, then it will be going to the Mobility Trust to help others who are the same position.

Thank you in advance for your help. We really do appreciate your kindness during this difficult time!
