Javier has been spending 90% of his time at the hospital staying with Mariah. As you can image, finances are tough. The cost of parking there, eating there, and not working are taking a heavy toll. No words can express the appreciation for any and all donations.
An update from Mariah's Tia Joana 9.10.18
No words could ever come close to describing what a family goes through when a loved one is sick or battling something you can't just take away. We had a scare today with Mariah. She was having complications from her treatments after her Bone Marrow transplant. Her heart rate was dropping and she was vomiting blood (mouth and nose) non stop for these past couple of days to where Dr.'s were unable to stop it. After consulting with specialists and other healthcare professionals, Blood and platelet transfusion later, they figured out she had clots on her liver, that has been damaged due the Chemo and was causing her vomiting and the medication to come up vs having a bowel movement. Mariah is now stable. TIRED BUT STABLE! The next 48 hours are critical in getting her fever down and the clots to pass. She's running high fevers and pending a few other medications which, should help her pass the clots vs vomiting. This is all very hard and still very RAW for us all but this is the behind the scenes not many get to see or hear about. Please hug your loved ones. Stop focusing on the things that won't really matter and start creating memories. THANK YOU ALL SOO MUCH FOR YOUR CONTINUED PRAYERS. WE WALK ON FAITH AND KNOW THAT HE IS HER MIGHTY HEALER. THERE IS NO ONE GREATER THAN HIM AND HE WILL NOT ABANDON HER. We are still in need of many prayers and THANK YOU for Following our Princess Warrior's journey.
