You may have heard about the recent condition of our beloved SL teacher, Ma'am Sophie. She was admitted the first week of December at CVGH due to difficulty of breathing. Chest xrays were taken showing bilateral pleural effusion.
Pleural studies showed exudative effusion. While awaiting for further studies she was started on HRZE medications. But she was losing weight and getting weak. Ma'am Sophie then went home without doing further workups. She may also be dealing with possible cancer of which focus we don't exactly know.
