We lost a beautiful, bright light on March 17, 2018 when our friend Joy fell in a tragic climbing accident. Fearless and courageous, she loved life and lived it fiercely, always chasing adventure and following her . She was an amazing human being - an extremely talented violinist, an accomplished engineer, and a fervent outdoor adventurist. On top of all that and more importantly, she was a caring daughter, a loving fiancée, an affectionate sister, and a genuine friend. She was kind, compassionate, generous, humble, funny - the epitome of her name, she was our true, pure JOY.
