Many of you know or have heard about our good friend Joei Beck.
Joei died suddenly on July 29, 2017 at the young age of 42 years old.
She left behind her loving husband Darryl and her three beautiful children, Matti (16), Claira (7) and Johnny (6). Joei was a firecracker! She had the best personality and her commitment to her family, friends and charities was second-to-none.
Joei had the hardest job out there…she was a stay-at-home mom. She was an amazing mother and took an immense amount of pride in caring for her children, especially Johnny, who has a rare disease called NF1 (Neurofibromatosis). Johnny requires round the clock care and Joei was always there for him. He and his mom had a very special bond. Joei always put her family and her friends ahead of herself. She was a very selfless person and would do anything she could to help others.
Joei loved and did so much for those in need especially the Children's Tumor foundation. Every year she helped raise awareness along with thousands of dollars and founded 'Johnny's BADASS Team' in the annual Cupid’s Undie Run.
This campaign is to help the Beck children with their future now that their mom is no longer here to champion for them. Especially young Johnny. Johnny will need continuous care for the rest of his life. If this campaign is able to take even a small fraction of pressure away from Darryl it will be a success. Any funds raised will be placed in an account set up by Darryl to help with the children’s medical needs and towards all of their educations.
Joei lived her life helping others and never wanted or expected anything in return. She always put everyone ahead of herself. Dina and I are asking for you to help Joei’s kids with their healthcare and their eventual post-secondary educations. Any donation amount would be greatly appreciated.
Those of you who know me know that I have dedicated my life to helping children with challenges and those in need. I am asking you to help me in providing some financial assistance now, especially for Johnny, who will continue to require special care and do so without his mom now.
