On a picture perfect Spring day, under a warm sun and clear skies during the afternoon hours of Wednesday, May 1st, 2019, every parents worst nightmare found the home of Jason Hassinger and Amanda Hensley. A tragic accident occurred resulting in the death of their son Jason Matthew Hassinger Jr, better known as JJ.

JJ, who was only 39-days passed his 3rd birthday, it should be said that JJ possessed all the traits we hope to have not just in our children but also in ourselves. He was a remarkably handsome boy with a warm, loving and humorous personality fueled by his adventurous spirit and determined attitude. Family and friends knew this and more importantly his parents Jason and Amanda knew this.

Now at the worst time of their lives Jason and Amanda not only have to face the harsh reality that they'll never be able to hold their son in their arms or kiss him goodnight, they now have to find a way to pay for his final goodbye without hearing him once more say the words, I love you Mommy and Daddy.

Which brings us to, How can we help? How can we help comfort Jason and Amanda during this time to ease the financial burden which is soon to come? We have started this page with their families blessing by opening it with all available funds available to us. While we're all working class families it's understood that no amount is too small. But let it be known when we exceed our goal of covering JJ's funeral arrangements all remaining funds will be properly dispersed in JJ's name by his father Jason. Jason, is a Silver Star and Purple Heart recipient who proudly served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, and will see that all remaining funds will be donated in JJ's name to charities that benefit our Disabled American Veterans and their families.

So please, join us is easing this burden for Jason and Amanda while also keeping JJ’s name and spirit alive by extending our contributions to the men and women who have bravely and proudly sacrificed themselves on behalf of their fellow Americans while preserving our freedoms as Americans.

-To Jason and Amanda,

I'll never have the words to console you but I promise that my actions will always reflect that which I'm unable to say. JJ was loved and will always be loved as we remember him in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.

With love, respect and our deepest condolences,
