For Ibrahim and his family

Ibrahim and his parents and little brother came to visit New York from Baku, Azerbaijan for a one week visit, their first time in the U.S.

On August 10th Ibrahim was tragically hit by a subway train in Brooklyn when he fell backwards off the platform.  The five year old boy fractured his skull and suffered a traumatic brain injury.  The family was supposed to fly back to Baku two days after this accident.

Now they must stay with their son in New York as he recovers in what will be a lengthy process.   One of his parents is with him at the hospital at all times as the other one stays with their younger son.

They have been staying with friends but will need to find a place closer to the hospital.  Ibrahim's medical care will be expensive.  Your contribution will help this young family to be able to stay at their son's bedside and anything beyond defraying those costs will go towards Ibrahim's medical care.
