For High-Spirited Hadi, The Fight For His Life

On Friday March 5, 2021, Hadi was airlifted from Loudoun County Hospital to George Washington Hospital as he suffered from a very severe aortic rupture that required an immediate and very complicated 11 hours heart surgery by a highly qualified cardiac surgery team. Someone so full of life should not be deprived a second chance to survive after an unfortunate life-threatening medical injury.
A family man who loves playing soccer with his friends, Hadi always brings a heartwarming smile and positive energy to the people around him. His family and friends describe him as bold, funny, generous, kind, welcoming, and always ready to go the extra mile to help others.
Hadi’s medical team have described his survival as a miracle. However, his severe health condition will cause many hardships to him and his family including heavy financial burdens.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He who removes from a believer one of his difficulties of this world, Allah will remove one of his troubles on the Day of Resurrection; and he who finds relief for a hard-pressed person, Allah will make things easy for him on the Day of Resurrection; he who covers up (the faults and sins) of a Muslim, Allah will cover up (his faults and sins) in this world and in the Hereafter.’’( narrated by Muslim)

Hadi’s journey to recovery will be a difficult and lengthy process (about 1 to 2 years). He is unable to work during this time so his family will also suffer an income loss.
