Bonnie gave the ULTIMATE gift!

Bonnie Feist lost her battle with cancer June23rd 2017. She had been diagnosed Febuary 2017. We believed she had beaten the cancer up until Mother's Day ; when she was diagnosed with tumors and bleeding in the brain.  After radical radiation to the brain, the lung cancer had taken over once again, making her struggle even more dire.  She was brought to her daughter, Melissa Feist's home with Hospice Care June 16th and died the following Friday.  Bonnie was a fun loving, vivacious, intelligent, hard working, kind and devoted Mother! She was a loved and  respected member of Alcoholics Annonymous, who died with nine years of continuous sobriety . Bonnie gifted her body after death to the Department of Anatomy, UC College of Medicine, in gratitude for saving her life from alcoholism. Her hope was that this gift would help further the study of addiction and help others to recover from alcoholism.  Her family is left with medical bills and final expenses. Bonnie also had one final wish to have her own mother's ashes laid to rest next to her father.  Even the smallest of contribtions towards these expenses would be appreciated for this most gracious woman.
