Dearest Friends and Family of Dexter Blue,
Now more than ever, Dexter and his family are in need of your prayers and support.
Since the time Dexter was a small child his inner light was palpable; visible in his eyes, his smile, his aura. A natural communicator, he shines his spirit and warmth on everyone he connects with. Like his parents, Rick and Ady, his big heart and magnetism make him adored by all. Dexter is truly an energetic force of nature, just on the precipice of making his mark on the larger world.
His recent graduation from the University of Washington this past June is just one example the extraordinary, determined soul Dexter is. He managed to complete his final year of college while fighting an aggressive rare cancer mutation (Primary mediastinal nonseminomatous germ cell cancer tumors).
Dexter and his family have spent the last 12 months in a brutal rotation of treatments: high-dose chemo, stem cell transplant, immunotherapy, and radiation, which unfortunately have all proven unsuccessful. While Dexter has been riddled with a multitude of solid tumors throughout his sternum & lungs, the Blue Family is remaining very hopeful a breakthrough treatment will be identified. It has been an interminable road, but a road that has hope, and one that you can support the Beautiful Blues family to continue to walk.

Dexter, from day one, has maintained an unwavering determination and optimism in his fight. Through it all, nothing has or will change this. His friends and family —us, you— are right there with him. We see our role as his community, as a strategic spiritual force, and our call to action is to collectively remove financial stressors, so that Dexter, Ady, and Rick can keep their sole focus on finding a cure.

This campaign is wrapped in the spirit of love, and healing. So, we are asking that you give generously, as they are now a single income family and the expenses are unrelenting. Your generous donations will help relieve the following:
-Clinical trials and out of state treatment options
-Dexter’s college tuition burden
-Travel out of the country to pursue alternative treatments
-Day to day expenses
