Sadly after what felt like a long fight Hudson passed away from his medical issues, please keep our family in your prayers…Our beloved baby Hudson arrived two weeks early on 02/15/24 at 8:35 pm, and his early arrival brought unexpected challenges. Throughout the pregnancy, everything seemed normal until Hudson's heart rate started dropping with each contraction after the water broke. This led to an emergency C-section. Upon his birth, Hudson was unresponsive, and medical professionals transferred him to Detroit Children’s Hospital. There, we received the devastating diagnosis of subgaleal hemorrhage, a rare and often fatal condition where bleeding occurs on the outer part of the skull. The doctors informed us that most newborns with this condition don't survive beyond the first 24 hours. Despite the grim prognosis, Hudson is now on day 5, showing incredible resilience as he fights for his life every single day. We are immensely grateful for the outpouring of prayers and support from our community. Your prayers have been our source of strength, keeping us hopeful even in the darkest moments.
