This page is in honor of 16 year old Pedro Gael Valdez, Christina Arambula Garcia's son. Pedro was murdered while riding his bike across the street from the Military Base on April 19, 2021 in Port Hueneme, California.

I have created this page with the family's consent to help them cover emergency expenses that relate to an unexpected death. There might be other pages created as there were a few other families affected. Two other teens were injured and hospitalized.
The teens were riding their bikes home when they were violently struck by a vehicle.
I am in contact with the family and the parent's are taking necessary time off work- they also have other minor children they are taking care of.

My family has known Christina and Juan for about 20 years and we want to be there and support them through this unimaginable time.
I received the following statement from one of Pedro's friends: "Pedro was a selfless and bright young man, he was the light in a dark room, he was caring kind and always knew how to make others feel better. He was an amazing friend and he will be missed dearly by everyone who cared for him. I went to school with him and he was in a few of my classes, he was a great friend and I’m grateful I met him. May he Rest In Peace and my condolences to his family and all of his friends ❤️." -Maria T.
