Benefit for Lexi Parks

We have started this page because our sweet sweet girl has to have surgery. We will be traveling back and forth and sometimes staying at Texas Children's Hospital. Lexi has been having seizures so due to that She has to do a video EEG for a week in the hospital. Her spine is pressing on her lung so due to that issue she needs a sleep study and will be having scolosis surgery. Her curve is 104 degrees. She will be in the hospital again for this. We will have to be out of work quite a bit to take care of our princess. To see all this little girl has to constantly go through but yet when we cry she is still strong and smiling. We just love her to pieces. Here is a little history on this precious Angel. Our daughter Alexiyah "Lexi" Parks is 9 years old. At age 2 she was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome, which is a neurological and brain disorder. It has growing periods but all of a sudden can be wiped out and go into regression. She at one point around 3 years old had learned to say a few words and even walk on her own. Then regression came and she has to keep trying to learn it all over again. My husband and I had dreams of first dates, prom, wedding, and especially just running and playing in the yard with the other kids. She cannot do this now. But she is the happiest and most fun spirited little girl we have ever seen. This little girl loves GOD because His light shines so bright in her and reaches to everyone she meets.
