FOP Campaign Against : Cancer
Donation protected
Alyssa is a young and vibrant dispatcher with the University of Missouri Police Department.
In August 2017, Alyssa was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. She began receiving chemo treatments immediately but later found out that the cancer had spread to her liver and lung.
Alyssa is receiving chemo treatments every other Monday and Wednesday. Often times she is carrying her treatments with her so she can continue to work.
Due to Alyssa's short duration as a dispatcher with the Univesity of Missouri Police Department she is out of vacation and sick time.
Alyssa recently found out that another surgery may be needed. She would be out of work for approximately 2 weeks.
Everyday that she takes off work due to her sickness is a day without pay.
Please help out by donating to help Alyssa compensate for time off without pay and be able to take care of herself. Alyssa always has her officers' backs, and the least we can do is have her back during this difficult time.
As the thin blue line family, we stand behind the thin gold line.
100% of the funds will be given directly to Alyssa to offset costs.
*The Mick Deaver Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) is a 503c Not-For Profit organization.
