I’m asking for your help the only way I know how, to raise $11,000. and here’s why:

On October 1, 2018 I was having an angiogram in my left leg. During the operation, I suffered a stroke. This stroke is the kind that makes me have my words all mixed up. Three days after this stroke there were a high number of clots in both my legs. The doctor was able to save my left foot because he was able to give me a bypass in the left knee. Because of many clots in the lower end of my right leg and all the veins failing, the doctors decided it would be better to wait a day or two to see if there be any way they could save my foot.

On the second day because of the possibility of gangrene, I and the doctors decided it would be better if I had my right foot amputated. At that time as well as at this time, my only income is Social Security. Before this amputation, I had three bypasses in both my knees for veins and arteries in both of my legs. Because of all these problems in my legs I am now disabled. Before I lost the leg, I was working at a local grocery store, for 25 hours a week (maximum I could make for Social Security). My Social Security plus the part-time job gave me enough money to make a living. I wasn't rich, but I was able to keep my head above water.

Now the only money I have is my monthly Social Security. I still have to pay for food, kerosene for my mobile home , electric, cable, phone, car insurance, gas, oil and maintenance, when I get a car, one credit card, home insurance, plus debt as the result of trying to navigate medical issues and expenses alone.

On October 3, 2018 the surgeon took my right lower leg just below the knee, including my foot. Here I find myself in my senior years my economic life starting all over again. Because I’m limited to Social Security and I have no chance of getting a part-time job for at least a year or more, I can’t pay my credit card expenses and I have to file for bankruptcy and pay a attorney fee. The bankruptcy will result in me losing my car also. Even though I'm getting my prosthetic foot in a couple weeks, I have will not have a car or way of driving myself around once they repossess it. Because I live in a rural senior housing community, I will have to buy a car to get to the grocery store, dentist, and doctor’s appointments, etc. I also have $4000 worth of debt that cannot be added to my bankruptcy, because part of it is the attorney’s fee of $2,000.

Please help me ................ and may God Bless You.
