Calling for Donations
Supplying shelter and food for children and families of Kurdistan that have been displaced and need your urgent help. The Kurdish people are the largest unique ethnic group without a state of their own and have been the most effective force in protecting our world from the largest terrorist organization of our time. Throughout this war and now more recently by neighboring nations, Kurdish civilians have been attacked and forced to flee their homes. We now have another crisis on our hands with many families left without food or shelter.
My name is Nena Murad and I am a former Miss Kurdistan. I represented Kurdistan in an International pageant in 2016 and have since been working with Kurdistan Save the Children, RAYAL center, and other organization to bring awareness to Kurdistan and its people. Over the last few days, our hearts have been shattered again as we watched our people once again flee their homes in fear of war.
In the immediate future, my aim is to raise at least $2,500 to contribute to the current crisis that has left so many without food or shelter. Any contribution will go a long way so please give generously. Let us stay united in the face of tragedy and injustice.
The money will go towards buying food and providing shelter for the people who have fled Kirkuk and other cities in Kurdistan, after the attack of on their homes by the Iraqi army.
The donations will be sent back to Rania, Kurdistan in which Kurdistan Save the Children, kurdish_world_singers or/and RAYAL center will receive the money and buy the supplies needed before distributing it to the families. I will be kept in the loop at all times and pictures will all be provided on my social media pages of the items being bought and distributed. I will be personally responsible for withdrawing the funds and making a cash/check donation to the organisations.
