FOOD TRUCK FOR SOCIAL GOOD!

Donation protected
My name is Dan and I have been a Professional Chef for the past 24 years. I have worked in hotels, restaurants, catering and most recently business dining. 16 years ago my plan was to start my own food service business, but sadly my youngest son was diagnosed with Leukemia. My wife quit her job at that time to take care of him full time and I needed to continue working to carry the much needed medical insurance for his treatments as well as to care for our 2 other sons. He successfully completed 3 and ½ years of Chemotherapy, but continued to need follow up care throughout his adolescence. He championed his cancer battle and is now a rising Junior in college. It was never an easy journey but it was always worth it! Our family was blessed with many organizations throughout his treatment and even afterward that helped our family cope with the life challenges of battling this disease and many additional organizations that helped our 2 older sons feel included and special. It has always been my families objective to give back to organization's with similar missions to those that helped us during our time in need. Now that our sons are grown and off on their own new life ventures it has become my goal to launch my food truck business and give back to local organizations that benefit children and  families. My 3 greatest passions are my family, creating great food and helping others in need. This will allow me the opportunity to nurture all 3 passions in one!  My Food Truck For Social Good will donate 10% of its profits to continue the amazing work of organizations just like the ones that helped our family! The funds raised will cover the cost of purchasing a food truck with up to date kitchen equipment, wrap and design of food truck exterior which will allow us to get this venture off the ground. We hope to launch this coming Summer 2019!  Please support us in making this dream a reality by donating now! Help me help others the best way I know how. “Good food is made sweeter when it is shared with others!” Double that when you can comfort those in need!! #foodtruck4socialgood #savageburgerco #foodtruck4socialchange
